A.C.E. (Aggressive Criminal Enforcement)
The Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team as formed in 2005 to address a number of issues. This team’s assignments are multi-functional and include saturation patrols in areas where citizens request extra patrol, conducting safety checkpoints, Criminal and Drug Interdiction, Crime Suppression, and interacting at Community Events. The A.C.E. team is very versatile. Although a primarily uniformed team, deputies are often utilized in non-uniformed assignments that include conducting narcotics investigations. The flexibility of this team allows patrol deputies additional time to answer calls for service.
Each team member has extensive training in the detection and interdiction of narcotics, as well as search and seizure practices. This team is in constant demand and has proven to be very beneficial to the citizens of Calhoun County.
