Investigative Team

The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office is comprised of three highly trained investigators. The investigators also service as crime scene technicians and are trained in a host of areas including Major Crimes, Sex Crimes, Financial Crimes, and Juvenile Crimes.

The Investigative team also has a certified Polygraph Examiner to assist them and other agencies with criminal cases and the veracity of statements. The division works closely with other Federal, State and local agencies to help combat crime in the county.

Their mission is to thoroughly investigate a wide variety of criminal cases that occur in the county.

The goal of the investigators is to identify perpetrators of criminal acts and provide for the successful prosecution through the presentation of evidence in a court of law. Therefore, the primary functions of the investigators are criminal investigation, collection and preservation of evidence and court room testimony.
