School Resource Officers

The Sheriff’s Office has Certified School Resource Officers assigned to two schools in Calhoun County. The SRO’s work primarily at Calhoun County High School and John Ford Middle School, but routinely visits other schools within the county. Their duties include answering calls for service at the schools along with building relationships between the Sheriff’s Office and the students and faculty. The SRO program has been in existence for several years and is very popular with both the faculty and the parents.
