Court Security

The Sheriff’s Office is responsible for providing security at the County Courthouse in St. Matthews. During terms of General Session and Family Court, deputies also provide courtroom security along with the transportation of prisoners. Deputies may also be called upon to assist during high risk trials with a host of other duties to ensure the safety of courtroom personnel and the public.
